Dr. Clark, a board-certified dermatologist, was founding Chair of Dermatology and Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Stony Brook University prior to launching NeoMatrix in 2012. Dr. Clark has spent his career focusing on wound healing and has served as Co-Focus Leader, Skin Regeneration Program, Armed Forces Institute of Regenerative Medicine (AFIRM). Dr. Clark has over 150 original publications, including in the peer-reviewed journals Science and J Cell Biology. He is the recipient of an NIH 10-year Merit Award and was elected to Stony Brook University’s Chapter of National Academy of Inventors. Dr. Clark received a Bachelor of Science from Massachusetts Institute for Technology, a Master of Science and Doctor of Medicine from University of Rochester School of Medicine, and further trained at NIH-NIAMS in infectious skin disease and at Harvard Medical School in Dermatology and Pathology.
